Virtual School Creative Writing Project –Superheroes!

The Virtual School is launching a creative writing project to help Leicestershire LAC improve their skills and help them see themselves as writers.

Leicestershire Virtual School

Writing is frequently an area of difficulty for children in care so we are launching a creative writing project to help Leicestershire children in care improve their skills and see themselves as writers by having their work published in a book.

Templates are available to assist all abilities, and we are asking schools to support the project by allocating TA time and PPP to enable their pupils to produce a piece of writing about superheroes.

We want schools to help the children review and edit their writing before submitting it to the Virtual School for inclusion in our very own Leicestershire Virtual School book which will be launched at an event later in the year. All the contributors, their schools and their carers will be invited and each child will receive a copy of the book, free of charge.
