Job description:
To ensure high levels of care and education to children aged 6 weeks - 5 years. To give support to other work colleagues within the Nursery To implement the daily routine with the Nursery To be caring, creative and willing to make a fool of yourself to ensure that the children have the best nursery experience.
Main duties:
Formulate and operate a program of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with the Management team. Plan and prepare work with co-operation of all staff. Be aware of motivators of all staff, and work to encourage them to give their best.
Experience and qualifications:
Must hold full and relevant Level 3 Qualification or above. Experience of line management responsibility would be an advantage.
Personal qualities:
Caring, creative, reliable, good timekeeping skills. Willing to get messy and engage in creative, messy activities. Have an active imagination, and follow the children's lead.
Terms and conditions:
The job offer is made subject to satisfactory results from necessary pre-employment checks such as references, suitability check and health declaration. You'll be expected to pay for a new DBS check unless you are a part of the DBS update service. There will also be a probationary period of 3 months
