Job description:
To provide individual and group activities for children that are safe, supportive and fun. To share in planning, setting up and clearing away of appropriate activities and to encourage children's participation. To ensure that Glebe House's Safeguarding Children Policy and procedures are followed.
Main duties:
To be the key worker for a small group of children, coordinating and communicating information to the team leader and parents/carers as appropriate To keep records up to date and ensure registers are kept To prepare, serve drinks, snacks, assist children, tidy, clean afterwards
Experience and qualifications:
Relevant NVQ 2 / 3 or similar qualification (or be working towards one or have relevant experience. Able to transport the children driving our minibus (2 years driving experience).
Personal qualities:
We need dedicated, enthusiastic individuals who have the confidence to deal with challenges that may arise. You will be capable of working on your own, using initiative but also be a team player. Confidentiality, flexibility, reliability and good communication skills are all necessary.
Terms and conditions:
These will be listed in the contract supplied subject to appointment. If your application is successful you will be subject to a DBS disclosure request.
