Job description:
As someone passionate and enthusiastic about beginning (or progressing) their career in childcare, you will work alongside qualified Childcare Practitioners, supporting the care and development of children aged 0 to 5. This post is for applicants wishing to undertake the Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship on either a part time or full time basis (20 - 40 hours per week).
Main duties:
Providing a safe environment for children. Children's learning and development. Daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery. Meal preparation. Developing and maintaining good relationships with local schools and the community.
Experience and qualifications:
A good work ethic is required and the ability to communicate effectively with the people around you, including children, parents and other staff.
Personal qualities:
You should be eager to learn and (with experience) gain more responsibility throughout this apprenticeship; aiming to progress through to becoming a qualified Nursery Practitioner (and potentially through to Room Leader and beyond in the future).
